The ‘Love Driffield’ Community Hub, based just off Exchange Street, is here to help this Christmas.

They help people from all walks of life who need some support. Whether it be in the form of food, white goods, a friendly ear or a referral on to a trusted organisation.

Their website is crammed full of information about weekly community events, links to trusted partners and a contact form for you to get in touch.

The hub will be closed after Thursday 17th December til Thursday 7th January, but to help families out during this period, the volunteers are making up “hampers” with Christmas food and treats.

The annual Christmas Toy Appeal is also under way, to help make sure no local child goes without a gift this Christmas.

You can apply to receive a Christmas “hamper” and toys for your children. Contact the ‘Love Driffield’ hub before the end of November to request the simple application form.
