Interpol put out an alert after Vadym Iermolaiev was said to have been targeted in a blast in the wealthy principality.
Anastasiia Berezovska, a 39-year-old from Ukraine, was named as the suspect in a red notice.
Ukrainska Pravda earlier reported she had been shot dead in her home country.
