Temporary flight restriction after four killed in early-morning car collision

Merseyside Police were called at 2am to reports that a black Seat Cupra had hit a lamppost on Liverpool Road in Huyton.

Two 23-year-old men and two men aged 24 and 26 were pronounced dead at the scene. Their next of kin have been informed.

A 27-year-old man who was a passenger inside the car has been taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

A temporary flight restriction zone, specifically affecting drones, was put in place above the scene.
