Sterling, 31, also admitted possessing six nitrous oxide cannisters (a class C drug) and failing to provide a specimen.
He crashed the Lamborghini Urus SUV on the M3 southbound, close to the Minley Interchange, on 28 May.
Police said no other vehicles were involved and there were no injuries.
Sterling appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court and admitted dangerous driving on the M25, the M3, the A327 and Minley Road prior to the crash.
Sterling played for Liverpool before switching to Manchester City, where he won four Premier League titles and helped the club break the league’s points record.
He transferred to Chelsea in 2022 and was loaned to Arsenal in 2024. However, his Stamford Bridge contract was terminated in January.
After a brief stint with Dutch club Feyenoord, he’s now without a club.

Sterling was also a mainstay of the England team under Gareth Southgate, scoring 20 goals across 82 appearances, as well as playing in three World Cups and two Euros tournaments.
