Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust has launched a new interactive website, providing signposting to the range mental health support available using a unique timeline of life’s stages.
NHS services can sometimes be difficult to navigate, with medical terminology and unfamiliar service names making it hard for people to know where to turn for help.
The Support at Every Stage website takes a different approach, organising mental health and wellbeing support around familiar stages of life rather than clinical services. Through an interactive, scrollable timeline, visitors can explore support for early years, growing up, adulthood, family life and later life, alongside a dedicated section on recovery.
This approach aims to help people find the right information and support for themselves or someone they care about, without needing to understand how NHS services are structured.
The Trust plans to continue developing the website, adding new content and resources to ensure it remains relevant and responsive to the needs of local communities.
