Humberside Fire and Rescue Service wants to shine a light on the incredible drive, motivation and compassion within our local community.
They are looking for nominations for their “Everyday Hero Award”: people go out of their way, through selfless acts, to care for the vulnerable, raise money for worthy causes, lift spirits, and remind others they are not alone.
If you know someone who makes a positive impact on someone’s life or improves their wellbeing, through exceptional actions, empathy and dedication you can nominate them.
Nominations close on Monday 30 June 2025.
A shortlist of three nominees will be invited to attend the Recognition Awards evening on Friday 17 October at the MKM Stadium in Hull. The winner will receive the Everyday Hero Award, presented by Phil Shillito, Chief Fire Officer.
