Sunday 16th June: The Grand Kickoff

The festival kicks off with a vibrant launch event on Market Place in Driffield, featuring the lively Makara Morris dancers. Following the festivities, join a guided walk along the Horsehair Jack Trod, spanning 9 miles of breath-taking scenery, before unwinding at a local pub.

Monday 17th June: Exploring the Wolds

Monday offers a variety of guided walks, including the ever-popular Croom Mabel Trod and a fascinating Wolds Geology Walk around Fridaythorpe. For those seeking a shorter journey, the Haywold circular walk near North Dalton promises stunning views and refreshments.

Tuesday 18th June: Discovering Hidden Gems

Uncover the secrets of dry valleys on a circular guided walk around Fridaythorpe, followed by a delicious pie and peas supper. Alternatively, experience the tradition of “Beating the Bounds” with a guided walk around the boundaries of Driffield, or challenge yourself with the Ginger Joe Trod, a rewarding 13-mile circular walk.

Wednesday 19th June: The Ultimate Challenge

Brace yourself for the Wold Rangers Way In a Day challenge, a 44-mile guided walk showcasing the best of the Wolds. If you prefer a more leisurely pace, join a scenic Wolds Circular guided walk near Huggate, followed by refreshing refreshments.

Thursday 20th June: Conquering New Heights

Embark on the Mad Halifax Trod, a circular guided walk across the stunning Wolds, or delve into the history of Driffield Pubs Past & Present on an informative guided walk, complete with a chance to sample local brews.

Friday 21st June: Exploring Thixendale

Discover the beauty of Thixendale with the Figure of 8 guided walk, or learn about Driffield’s famous sons on the Mortimer Trail.

Saturday 22 June: The Driffield Navigation Trail

Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the Driffield Navigation Trail, a favorite among walkers, before ending the day at a local pub.

Sunday 23 June: Family Fun

Join in the excitement of Geocaching, a fabulous family event set in the dales around Huggate, or explore the impressive history and artwork of the church at Garton on a guided circular walk.
