Pocklington town centre will once again host a Food and Drink Festival this October.
The two-day festival, organised by Market Square Group Ltd in co-ordination with East Riding of Yorkshire Council, will promote a celebration of local flavours, fun, and community spirit.
The event will take place from 9am to 6pm on Saturday 4 October and 10am to 5pm on Sunday 5 October. It will be located throughout Market Place and expand into Market Street.
Residents and visitors will be able to experience mouth-watering street food, exceptional bars, alfresco dining experiences, craft stalls, and specialty groceries. There will also be live entertainment for the whole family, including music, comedy acts, and children’s activities.
Councillor Nick Coultish, East Riding of Yorkshire Council cabinet member for culture, leisure and tourism said: “We’re excited to bring the Food and Drink festival back to Pocklington, working with Market Square Group Ltd.
“This event is now a fixture in the town and plays a vital role in generating opportunities or Pocklington businesses.”
