The Men’s Tour of Britain cycle race comes to the East Riding on Friday 4th September.
It can be difficult to predict the speed the cyclists will complete the 198km route with tactics, weather and many other factors all influencing their pace.
Race organisers have issued the following estimated timings:
The riders leave East Park in Hull at 10.30am and head for the coast taking in Withernsea at around 11.20am and Hornsea at about midday.
The route heads inland to Burton Agnes just before 12.30pm and Langtoft at 12.50pm.
The cyclists are expected on Middle Street North and South in the heart of Driffield at around 1.10pm.
They’ll be on the bypass near the Kelleythorpe industrial estate at about 1.15pm.
It’s on to Sledmere at 1.30pm, Wetwang at 1.40pm and Bainton by 1.50pm.
After two circuits around Beverley, the race ends at around 3.30pm.
