Organisers of the 150th Driffield Show have thanks visitors for what they described as “an incredible day”.
A post on social media read:
“A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the 150th Driffield Show. With more than 25,000 visitors through the gates, record entries across many of our competitive sections and perfect Show day weather, it was a truly memorable occasion.
“Whether you came to watch the spectacular Atkinsons Action Horses, browse our 400+ trade stands, sample delicious local food and drink, enjoy the Driffield Show Wheel, cheer on competitors in the rings, or simply spend time with family and friends, we hope you had a fantastic day.
“Events like ours simply wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of so many people. Thank you to our exhibitors, competitors, trade exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers, stewards, judges, entertainers, contractors and every member of our dedicated team who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this special anniversary Show such a success.
“Most importantly, thank you to you – our visitors. Your continued support means everything to us and ensures that the Driffield Show continues to thrive for future generations.
“We hope you’ve gone home with wonderful memories of our 150th celebration.”
