North Yorkshire Water Park is set to sleigh this festive season with a sparkling line-up of Christmas activities guaranteed to get visitors feeling merry and bright. From enchanting grotto visits to gingerbread-fuelled workshops to breakfast with Santa, the park is gearing up to be the region’s ultimate Christmas destination.
The magic begins with Santa’s Grotto, running every Sunday from 7th December. Children can enjoy an extended cosy chat with Santa and Mrs Claus, receive a special gift, and share their festive wishes in an unforgettable festive experience priced at just £12.50 per child.
For families looking to dial the festive fun up another notch, Santa’s Workshop takes place every Saturday from 6th December to 20th December. This hands-on hour of creativity includes gingerbread Christmas tree decorating, crafting decorations and writing letters to Santa with the help of cheerful elves. Afterward, children can visit Santa and Mrs Claus in the grotto before adults unwrap a well-deserved mince pie and hot drink. Tickets are £22.50 per child.
Back by popular demand, Breakfast with Santa returns each Sunday from 7th December at 9.30am. Families can indulge in a delicious buffet breakfast at the lakeside café, complete with teas and coffees, while children enjoy quality time with Santa and receive a selection box, all for just £12.50 per person. It’s the perfect way to start a December morning with a sprinkle of Christmas cheer.
Those looking for a festive outing with friends, colleagues or family can dive into the park’s seasonal special, A Slice of Christmas, available from 29th November. Guests can choose from Archery, Axe Throwing, Puzzle Rooms or the Escape Room before heading to the café for a Christmas-themed pizza topped with turkey, pigs in blankets, cranberry sauce and red onion. Priced at £25 per person, this merry package makes for an unforgettable alternative to the traditional office party or group day out.
Visitors can also enjoy the Elf Walk, a free lakeside trail where families search for Santa’s runaway elves from 29th November. Those who report back to the café with the correct count will be entered into a prize draw to win a North Yorkshire Water Park family voucher, proof that Christmas magic is always just around the lake!
