Burton Fleming & Wold Newton Tractor Run Raises Huge Amount of Money for Yorkshire Air Ambulance

Last Sunday, amidst pouring rain and gloomy skies, the Burton Fleming & Wold Newton Tractor Run went ahead as a testament to community spirit and unwavering support for a great cause. The organisers extend their sincere appreciation to everyone who braved the wet weather to make the event a resounding success.

A special acknowledgment is reserved for the resilient tractor drivers who defied the elements, navigating their open-top tractors through the rain-soaked terrain.

In a staggering display of generosity, this year’s tractor run surpassed all expectations by raising an astonishing £8,440.14. This monumental contribution brings the cumulative fundraising total for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance by the Burton Fleming & Wold Newton Tractor Run to an impressive £25,419.37. Such a remarkable achievement stands as a testament to the unwavering commitment of the community towards supporting essential emergency services.

The success of the event would not have been possible without the invaluable contributions of several individuals and organisations. Special thanks are extended to Dave Woodcock, Peter Hayton, Kate, Mike, and Sheila at the Anvil Arms for their exceptional hospitality and the delightful buffet that awaited participants at the conclusion of the run. The dedication of all marshals and Yorkshire Air Ambulance volunteers who braved the elements to ensure the smooth operation of the event is deeply appreciated.

Looking ahead, mark your calendars for next year’s tractor run scheduled for Sunday, April 27th and is once again in support of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
