Yorkshire Water is due to begin a £2.9m scheme to upgrade the clean water network in Dalton Holme and Lund.
The scheme will replace over 8.6km of clean water pipes. The company says it “will reduce the likelihood of future bursts, low pressure or loss of supply” in the East Riding villages.
Contract partners, M Group, will start on site on Monday 17 August and the utility is contacting local residents and businesses to notify them of the traffic management that will be in place.
Both projects should take approximately 8 months to complete.
