The Festival of Words is taking place from Friday 15th October to Saturday 23rd October, and Pamela Taylor Bramwell joins Great Driffield Radio to tell us about some of the highlights. Look out for Ian McMillan, the Bard of Barnsley, plus Crime Day on Saturday 16th October and Bestsellers Day on Saturday 23rd October. Andrew Wilkinson tells Great Driffield Radio about his great idea for a School Uniform Exchange to help out parents in these difficult times. There are donation points at Driffield CofE, Northfield Infants, Driffield Junior and Nafferton Primary schools.. If you have good quality uniform that you think can have a second lease of life, please get involved ; there's also a Uniform Exchange Day planned this Friday (27th August) at the Old Saleroom, on Exchange Street in Driffield, from 10AM till 3PM too.
