LISTEN: Sarah raises awareness of Congenital Myotonic Dystrophy

April 30, 2019

Sarah, a paediatric nurse who adopted a child with Congenital Myotonic Dystrophy, will be setting off from Land's End heading for John O'Groats at the head of a group of bikers and trikers.

On the 19th May 2019, Sarah and the team will be zig-zagging their way up the country, stopping at biker cafes on the way to raise awareness of the condition, and raise funds to finance vital medical research.

Driffield is one of the stops on the route, Sarah and the team would be delighted if local bikers/trikers would join them for as much of the route as they are able/would like to.

Sarah spoke to Great Driffield Radio, listen to the interview here:

Details of the route are on the Facebook page 'Congenital Myotonic Dystrophy Fight Fund Ride of Hope 2019', where approximate timings will be published nearer the time, so please like and share to spread the word.
