Tesco in Driffield put social distancing measures in place

Social distancing measures are being put in place in the Driffield Tesco store.

The store manager Tara Goulsbra‎ announced on a facebook post that they are putting the measures in place to keep customers and colleagues safe.

Tara commented...

"When you visit the store please understand you may be asked to queue to enter the store - this is so we can manage the social distancing in store and at times will require us to limit the amount of shoppers, colleagues will be at set points from tomorrow directing customers where to queue and when they are able to move to a empty checkouts."
"Things will be really different in store for the forceable future so please understand if you are asked to wait or move back it's asked in kindness and to protect you as well as us. Please be mindful when you shop if 1 person can shop with 1 trolley that would be perfect however I am totally realistic and know some shoppers need assistance. Thankyou in advance for your understanding my guys are doing the best they can in difficult circumstances you will be met everyday with a smile and hopefully leave with the things you need."
