Driffield Food Bank to open 1 day each week

It is classed as a vital organisation and it comes under certain legislation so has been given permission to open.

Thursdays between 1pm and 4pm will be the day and time the food bank is open.

Those wishing to use the Foodbank will be given a form to complete.

Members of the Foodbank will wear gloves and operate within government guidelines on social distancing.

Generic bags will be distributed (currently unable to provide choices).

The Foodbank urgently require:
Toiletries and cleaning materials
Size 4/5 and 6 nappies

Donations can be dropped off at Tesco or at the Foodbank itself during opening hours. Alternatively call Angela Train on 01377 252230 or message Gaz Wood Townend on Facebook and they will collect.

There will be a reassessment of the situation on a weekly basis.
