Council issues Summer 2022 chalet booking update

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has issued a statement apologising for technical errors which meant booking chalets was not possible last Saturday as planned.

The statement reads as follows:

Firstly, we would like to apologise that you were unable to book a summer chalet when we tried to launch them on 8 January 2022.  A technical error occurred that was not able to be fixed on site.  The team have worked with the external system provider, checking that it is now working correctly, and we can now confidently set a new date for summer chalets to go on sale.

Initially, once it became apparent there were issues, we asked people to telephone or email us to make their bookings.  In the interest of fairness to everyone and to expedite the process, we will be starting afresh when we relaunch so you will need to either book online or contact us again to make your booking.  The details of times are detailed below:

The new date for summer 2022 chalet sales will be:

Monday 17 January 2022 at 08.00

The link to the booking system is:

If you are unable to book online, you can of course call our office on 01262 678255 from 08:30am on the same date.  Due to anticipated high demand, on this occasion we will are only accepting online and real time telephone bookings.  Please do not email or leave an answerphone message as we cannot guarantee when we will be able to respond.
