Southburn Archaeological Museum Open Days return this month

Southburn Archaeological Museum near Driffield will open to the public again this year on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th May between 10 and 4pm.

The open days give the public opportunity to view the huge collection of archaeological artefacts from Neolithic, Bronze Age, Roman, Viking and Medieval periods all connected with the local area.

Volunteers will be on hand to show people around.

The museum also has an activity room where younger children can learn about history through fun and play
