Pocklington Household Waste Recycling Site to reopen

The household waste recycling site at Pocklington is due to reopen following a temporary closure for essential improvements.

The site, in Pocklington Lane, Burnby, will reopen at 10am on Saturday 5 April.

It was closed in January to allow for the installation of a new drainage system.

Carl Skelton, director of streetscene services at East Riding of Yorkshire Council, said: “I want to thank residents in the Pocklington area for bearing with us while we completed this necessary work, and I’m glad we can welcome them back to the site.”
